This week I was assigned to work on tilesets, providing temporary assets for the village and (mostly) finalized art for the forest ground.

In the first week (week 3), I was assigned to making a tileset that could function as a concept / temporary asset for the forest. I also made creeks that are compatible with my temp village tileset from last week. These are separated into the creek bed and ground layer, so that we would be able to place (and maybe animate if we have time) semi-transparent water textures between them.
In the second week, I was assigned to create a mockup for cliff pieces in a tileset, as well as painting a forest tileset that could be used in the final version of the game, and would fit in the final art style I established with the other environment artists.
In the coming weeks, I will be creating a finalized tileset for the village and bringing it in line with the other styles on the team, as well as likely adding more detail / tweaks as necessary to the forest ground.
