The game is gold, and the showcase is drawing near: Twin Blades' Vengeance will soon be shown to the public. The game is effectively complete and playable from start to finish.
I have spent the last two weeks creating any additional art assets required for the boss enemy, finalizing the game's cover art, and helping the animation team with the game's animated trailer. I did not quite reach 12 hours, as all of the art for the game itself has been completed. A breakdown of my time is below:
Pre-Beta II Time Breakdown | | Total: | 11h 30m |
---|---|---|---|
Boss Laser Pose | 30m | Trailer Fall Shot Color | 1h 30m |
Boss Second Punch Animation | 45m | Cover Art Final Rendition | 4h |
Trailer Opening Shot Color | 1h 45m | Art Team Meetings & Playtesting Sessions | 3h |

Since all of the game's art had been completed, I spent my second week this sprint helping the animation team in coloring animation cels for the game's trailer, which will be ready by the showcase.
I worked on two different shots,

The other major task I worked on during this sprint was the final rendition of the game's title art. Refining this work was my largest objective, and dominated the majority of my time. This art has gone through many different iterations and feedback cycles, and I created versions in many different aspect ratios to account for different uses and media platforms.
I am proud of everything I have been able to accomplish working on this project, I am looking forward to the showcase and getting to see everyone's reactions to the game, and I am excited for future semesters in the studio!
